The Story

In 1979, Faryn Leitmonde left home in search of adventure. She took with her a handful of documents and manuscripts about the mythical Hex Diamond—an ancient artifact with supposedly unlimited arcane power. After a chance encounter, Faryn joins the Artemis Crew, a group of adventurers who scour the lands and skies for lost treasures. Their quest will take them to crumbling ruins, bustling cities, and lands (and skies) unknown, but they won't be searching alone; beasts, thugs, and other hunters for the Diamond will cross their path. Surviving the journey itself will be an incredible trial of grit and teamwork—obtaining the Diamond, if it really does exist, will be even more grueling. However, if they can do it, their names will surely go down in history…

…and their bank accounts will likely be well stocked for decades…

I'm William, a.k.a. Physics God. I've been drawing ever since I could remember—I still recall making my own Captain Underpants comics and Flip-O-Ramas with my brother and neighbor. Storytelling and art have always gone hand in hand for me, and making a comic that's all of my own creation has been my dream for a long time. The story and characters of Hex have brewed in my head for years at this point; the oldest of these characters (Maverick) dates back to 2015. Hex is the result of me finally organizing my thoughts and putting pencil to paper (or, pen to tablet). As you read this story, I hope you grow to love these characters as much as I cherish them, and that the world they inhabit inspires some awe and wonder in you. Having this comic be out there for anyone to read continues to feel like a dream come true; this is a project created purely out of the love of creation, and I take great joy in being able to share it. That's enough about me, though—read and enjoy!
